exothermic welding
Exothermic Welding is a welding that employs molten metal to permanently join the conductors. This improves mechanical, electrical and anti-corrosion properties compared with any mechanical connection. Exothermic welding is the best way to make permanent, reliable and high conductivity connections for any installation requiring an earthing system.

We used powdered aluminium and copper oxide as our weldmetal compound. The weldmetal is poured into the graphite mould. Following by ignition powder and ignited using the flint gun. The exothermic welding reaction will create high temperature to fuse the coppers or aluminiums together. Electrical resistance will not increase over the lifetime of the installation.
