Product Description
The non-contact high voltage detector is designed to detect the presence of high voltage in any direction without any means of physical contact. As the sensory head is placed close/closer to the live equipment, its sensor head will pick up the radiated electric field. Once a certain amount of high voltage has reached the sensor's threshold, a buzzer sound and bright red warning light alerts the user of live wires/equipment.
The non-contact high voltage detectors is powered by three standard alkaline c-cell batteries that can be used in both outdoors and indoors. Before using the voltage detector, a self-test is needed to be performed to ensure that all circuitry and annunciators are working properly.
